Using & Caring for Your Seattle Splint

Proper fit and care of your Seattle Splint play a vital role in your healing. Below, you will find guides and videos to help you manage your splint at home. Please contact your provider with any questions. We hope you find the Seattle Splint comfortable. We wish you ease with your recovery.

Not for Walking

Your standard splint is engineered only for light touchdown pressure (up to 40 lbs). It should never be walked on. EFs will tolerate no weight bearing, that is, non-weight bearing (NWB). Take care not to bend your splint.

If your splint gets bent, or if it feels uncomfortable at any time, please contact the healthcare professional who prescribed it right away.
